OpenCulture is the annual international event for Collections Managers, Curators, Registrars, Archivists, Librarians - in fact anyone who manages a Collection, whatever your level of
expertise! OpenCulture 2011 will take place on the 7th and 8th of June 2011.

The only major event focused on Collections, OpenCulture 2011 is an opportunity to network,
debate the latest developments in practice and get the inside track on the key issues
affecting Collections over the next 5 years.

PEL will be exhibiting at the Archives and Records Association Conference in Edinburgh on the 31st of August - 2nd of September 2011.

A Pest Odyssey 2011: Ten Years Later is a follow up to the highly successful conference of the same name held in 2001. The event is being hosted by the British Museum and organised by Icon's Care of Collections Group in partnership with the British Museum and a wide range of other institutions, including English Heritage, The British Museum, the Natural History Museum, Historic Royal Palaces, The V & A, the Museum of London, the Horniman Museum and The Tate.

Preservation Equipment Ltd has launched a new website for the serious collector and the public to purchase acid free archival materials.

Work will continue on the site introducing smaller quantities which the private person requires.
