Bench End Guillotine

The Bench End Guillotine cuts museum mount board, backing board and even hardboard up to 2.5mm quickly and accurately to size.  The guillotine comes ready assembled to fit easily onto the surface at the end of almost any workbench or table, 1220mm / 48” wide.  It has a unique hand-operated rocking beam material clamping system.  The blade is specially shaped from hard chrome steel alloy to give a long lasting cutting edge.

Bolted to the Oilite pivoted arm and a spring counterbalance provide effortless operation.  A finger turn locks the blade safely in the down position when required.  In the unlikely event of the blade losing its edge it can be easily unbolted for sharpening.  A 990mm / 39” measuring gauge complete with sliding cursor and finger guard are standard.
